　　Since I was a little child, I was taught that don't give up forever. My mother told me that teaching me how to walk was a tough task. When I just learned how to walked, I fell down frequently, but she or my father never helped me to stand up, because they wanted me to stand up by myself. After fell down again and again, I finally learned walking. My parents were proud of me. Now, whenever I meet with a problem or get into trouble, no matter how hard the situation is, I rarely stop my step, because I have a faith in my mind that the most beautiful view will come in after the highest hill. If you are sure what you do, then you just stick to it. Nothing in the world is easy, so we will always meet challenges in life, but remember one thing that never give up and sunshine comes after the storm.

　　People always say that dreams are always great because we can do something that we can not do in real life and some unimaginable thing can happen. However, the dream I had last night was horrible. In a rainy day, I was running to my home. But when I was near to the river, I saw a ghost on the other side of the river. I was scared, so I wanted to run more quickly. But, I suddenly found that my legs frozen and I fell down. And then I found three people I knew, so I shouted and asked for help. Unfortunately, they just saw me quietly and nobody helped me. Then I cried and woke up. After I woke up, I was still scared, so that I turned on the light. But the good thing was that I feel lucky after woke up, because nothing horrible happened.

　　I have a brother who is four years older than me. His name is Brain and he is eighteen years old. Now he is a college student. He does very well in his major courses, but he is poor in English. He is outgoing and helpful, his friends and classmates like playing with him. Basketball is his favorite. He always makes new friends while he plays basketball. He cares much about me. Although he goes to another city for college, he calls me frequently and asks my life and study and tells me to care more about our parents. When he gets holidays, he often comes home to see us, and that makes my parents happy. Every time he comes back, my mother cooks delicious dishes for him. My brother is a good guy and I am sure he will have a bright future after graduation.

And it will tell us the words with similar meanings or pronunciations. With the development of dictionaries, there are various types of dictionaries. Electronic dictionaries are the new ones. They are very popular among students,because they are easy to use and carry. But, we should use dictionaries properly and we can't depend on them all the time. Sometimes we needn't look up every new word in dictionary, but to guess its meaning according to the context. Besides, some small dictionaries or electronic dictionaries are not so comprehensive, the authoritative ones are the best.
